Who is Grow or Die for?: Founders running paid AI apps or SaaS products who want to understand visits, customer payments and recorded AI costs together. It is not a full trace/evaluation suite or accounting system. See how the workflows compare.
Does the browser SDK report AI costs?: No. The browser tracker reports visits and identity. Model usage must be reported by a server-side integration with usable model pricing. Billing supplies payments; a shared customer identity links the records. Start with the integration guide.
Is revenue after AI costs my net profit?: No. It is observed revenue minus recorded, priced AI usage for the selected period. Hosting, salaries and other expenses may be excluded; fee treatment depends on the connected billing source. It is not a reconciled provider invoice. Missing usage or pricing is unknown, not zero; unmatched usage stays separate.
Can I see X mentions without installing an SDK?: Yes. X monitoring does not require the website SDK. Reads count posts checked, not mentions found. New searches pause when your allowance is exhausted; saved mentions remain available within your plan's history window. Finding a post does not guarantee a visit or sale.

How X mentions work

What counts as a mention?: A saved post must match your website domain, an expanded link to it, or a verified product name with the required context. Common or ambiguous names need additional evidence. This is mention monitoring, not a feed of everyone who might be a sales prospect.
Do reads mean results?: No: 800 reads does not mean 800 mentions. Reads are posts checked against the search target, including posts that do not match. Results are deduplicated by post ID; several posts by one author remain several posts, while avatar stacks group people. Opening the dashboard reads saved results instead of purchasing a fresh search on every visit.
How often is a search run?: Starter searches about every three hours and Growth about every hour when monitoring is enabled and capacity is available. These are target intervals, not real-time guarantees. The first search and subsequent searches share the website's allowance. API errors, cooldowns, per-day limits or exhausted allowance can pause new searches; saved results are not erased by a pause.
What are the limits?: Each website has its own quota. Starter includes 800 reads per month and normally up to 80 reads per UTC day; Growth includes 4,500 per month and normally up to 450 per UTC day. Initial-day limits may differ. The 7-day trial includes 200 reads total. Daily budgets reset at 00:00 UTC; paid monthly read accounting uses the UTC calendar month. Your dashboard's coverage and usage section shows the actual remaining budget.
How much history can I see?: Starter and trial show up to 30 days of saved history; Growth up to 90. The dashboard's date selector filters saved results; it does not request an exhaustive X archive. Collection keeps the original post timestamp separately from when it was found. Changing the display period does not increase the search allowance.
Can mentions be missed?: Yes. Protected or deleted posts, unexpanded short links, unsupported content, ambiguous brand names and provider search coverage may be missed. Retweets are excluded from the search. A successful check with no matches is different from an unavailable check. No SDK is required for mentions, and a mention does not prove a visit, recommendation or sale.
